This year Microfinance Center of Poland celebrates its 20th anniversary, therefore, on May 23-26, representatives of MFO “KMF” and Fund “KMF-Demeu” participated in the 20th MFC Annual Conference in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The theme of the event was “Horizon 2037: Fair Finance for All”.
For the last two decades, MFC has strengthened its position as a leading regional center which provides access to financial resources, as well as a leading network which currently unites 103 microfinance institutions, including KMF. As a part of the anniversary celebration a unique conference program was developed with participation of well-known theoreticians, experts and special guests who established this sector in the 90s.
The program was saturated with the microfinance issues in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Europe, and great attention was paid to increasing financial literacy of clients of the microfinance market. During the event the founders of MFC Maria Novak and Rosalinda Kopisarov were interviewed. During the breaks the guests had the opportunity to attend the fair of social investors.
At the end of the first day, there was a gala dinner and award ceremony devoted to MFC’s anniversary. KMF received the award for innovative approach to customer servicing on the Mobile Expert Project.
