Business training on sales for clients of the Almaty branch
At the end of November, “KMF-Demeu” Fund held a Sales Technique training program for Business clients in Shelek village of Almaty region. It was delivered by invited business coach Galiya Koyanbayeva. She had already delivered similar training in Almaty for clients of “Barys” outlet, which received positive feedback; therefore it was decided to continue the practice of delivering trainings with invited experts.
For the two hours of training Galiya explained the basic principles of sales to our borrowers: from a greeting to closing a deal. The training participants role-played different scenes acting like sellers and buyers, simulating every day activities at their workplace in a store, pharmacy, beauty salon.
Nikolay Belkin is selling metal products in Shelek and in the region. He came to the training for self-education. “It's never too late to learn,” says Nikolay. - This training is not like regular lectures where you sit and write. There were a lot of cases that we dealt with, which is very useful for work.”
It was the second training in KMF for Nikolay. The first one he attended was devoted to accounting.
Ranogul Turganova - the owner of the beauty studio "Marafet". The youg woman has been living in Shelek for four years, where she returned after studying and working in Almaty. According to her, such trainings are very useful for entrepreneurs, because in rural areas almost no one organizes such events. “We don’t have time to go anywhere,” says Rano. Every day is a routine and sometimes you forget the most basic things: a greeting, dealing with complaints, completion of sales, and these are very important things!”

- I am inspired by such trainings, they develop potential. In addition to receiving a loan, I get knowledge at KMF. I have the opportunity to get free advice from a business coach. I think that this is a great opportunity for the countryside, which should be used just devoting a couple of hours a day. It will have its effect on business!
According to Galiya Koyanbayeva, the format of her trainings differs from the usual ones with presentations and strict time limits. “I have no slides, because every audience is unique. What is interesting for the audience in Almaty may not be very interesting for clients in Shelek. Therefore, I am adjusting practically on the move, responding to requests from the audience, which allows us to meet the needs of this particular audience. ”


“KMF-Demeu” Fund together with the Personnel Development Center develops a plan of business trainings, taking into account the wishes of the branches and outlets to be delivered on request during 2019. To popularize such trainings among our clients, a series of training videos will also be filmed, so that each loan officer can send it to their clients as an announcement.
Training is one of the effective non-financial instruments that our company provides to borrowers for free of charge. The objective of all loan officers is to invite their clients to participate in such trainings, as they increase their knowledge and business skills, increase turnover. And this directly affects their lending volumes and minimizes the portfolio-at-risk.
